Funi got the new haruhi series to be dubbed so hope is not fully lost. They aren't just holding it back due to it not being that popular anymore since stuff like Code Geass isn't out yet. That's still relevant right?

Code Geass has fallen out of relevancy but it'd still make more money than Lucky Star I assume. It has a weird cult following, despite it being mediocre IMO of that genre.

Don't know if there will be a re-release. Depends on the sales the first release had really. I have the boxset from it but I'd like a new one tbh.

Geass is more talked about then lucky star though. Most people think of lucky star as just outdated jokes or moeblob crap.

Yeah, that's exactly what I mean, of course, but it's not nearly as relevant as it was. And Lucky Star never was as relevant as Geass, so pulling them into comparison is useless.

Lucky Star still seemed popular years ago though.

On release, not nearly as much as Geass on release though. And it's not really anymore. I don't think Miyakawa Ke did as good as they would've liked either.

lol Didn't Code Geass have like a new anime now?? And compared to 8 years ago, NO ONE wants to license it! Man, times have changed!

Has anyone bought the blu-ray re-release? I actually just came back now after it popped up on my Amazon, it came out in Winter 2016, fairly recently. It went entirely under my radar.
