Gonna check out the opening at least.

I originally thought they would use CGI for ALL the dancing. But it turns out they only use it for the far away, group shots where the details would get too complicated and take too long to animate by hand, and the medium/close-ups are still hand-drawn! It shows they still value hand-drawings wherever possible and do make an effort to blend them both seamlessly, though it's not always perfect. The song is nice, but it doesn't get me pumped to see it.

i really appreciated that they used hand-drawn animation over CGI wherever possible

Animation is nice, video quality is nice, girls are cute, and the game is quite fun (I discovered it because of the game), but oh well that music... I'm not a fan of it, still unsure if I'll watch it. But the fan art is still amazing, and the best girl is surely Maki hehehe.

she sure is great, but my favourite is either Hanayo or Kotori, it's such a hard choice~
