Since there's been no overt enforcement seen, I believe that the mods are monitoring it all and, determining that there are no flagrant violations occuring, are letting things ride. I'm sure they will act as is required.

Of course. It all comes back to "Letter of the law vs. Spirit of the law". The Rules do explicitely state to avoid posting after a month should you not be bringing something important to the discussion (IE a major update). I am one to follow the letter to the dot, hence my stickiness on logistics, as to ensure everybody reads the exact same thing.

I think there's nothing wrong with necromancy if the resurrecting post contains some content and not just "lol".
