Simply list the last book you read from start to finish. Or partially. But I'd prefer that it'd be from start to finish.

I last read The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. GREAT book, and I can't wait for the movie version next year.

CAN'T. WAIT.

I found my copy of "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning" yesterday and read the first chapter of that back over.

Made me remember how much I love that series, despite that I never got past book 2. (The cover for the Wide Window was pretty scary to me in fifth grade)

Is that series done yet?

I finished the Sighs novel yesterday. I wonder when The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya is going to be translated?

Yeah, it ended last year with "The End".

The boredom's probably gonna be released during Q1 2010, with Disappearance likely coming in late Q2 or early Q3.

Yea, they SAY spring, but what they really mean is summer or fall.

I wonder how The Shock/Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya will be like?

The Shock (fifth light novel) is a collection of more short stories that were published in The Sneaker, such as Endless Eight (Brooklyn RAAAGE!) and Snowy Mountain Syndrome.

Sauce?

I thought it was a continuation of The Dissociation of Haruhi Suzumiya, making it the 10th novel?

That's where I read Disappearance!!

But I like to restrain myself as much as possible until the full English release, which is where I shall then buy them.

Even though I've already read Disappearance, though, I'm still going to buy it when it comes out to show my support for such a great book. (Like I do with all the anime I like!)

There are NINE. It may be YEARS before we catch up.

And, BTW, the TENTH is readying for release.

That's what I said! The Shock/Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya is the tenth novel.

I know it'll take a while, but if I read it all online, there's no point in buying the novels when they release in English. I like to buy the book, then read it.

The only books I'll be reading online are the monogatari light novel series. (They're not even light novels since they're 450+ pages...) But so far, only the first two chapters of Kizumonogatari have been translated at that site.

I don't know if this is fake or not, but apparently this is the cover for The Shock/Surprise/Astonishment of Haruhi Suzumiya. (All those words basically mean the same thing, you get the idea. Different sites have been giving different translations of the word.)

New character spoilers?

Anyways, right now I'm SUPPOSED to be reading a book called Star Spangled Canadians for Canadian history class, but I've been lazy, I'll read most of it Friday and this weekend to do the book report.

(There needs to be a Haruhi Light Novel thread.)
