InuYasha: The Final Act begins streaming October 3rd!!

VIZ Media, the American rights holder for the InuYasha series, has announced that beginning this Saturday the 3rd, they will begin streaming the new anime series InuYasha: The Final Act, which picks up where the original anime left off.

Episodes will be available alongside all 167 episodes of the original anime series in English subtitled form (English subbed AND dubbed for the original) on Hulu.com and VIZ Media's Shonen Sunday website.

Yea apparently official subs of the new episodes will stream on shonen subday's site three hours after the episode airs in Japan.

Keep in mind, this DOES NOT pick up exactly where we left off, they skipped a big chunk of the story. It'll only be 26 episodes and only be touching on th amin points in the story.

Well we left off in the anime where they almost killed Naraku inside a demons body, but he escaped and the gang survived. And there was a lot of stuff between that and the last few chapters with The Final Act is covering.

I just finished the first episode

This is the first time I've seen InuYasha since 2005, and this episode was great! I had a nostalgiagasm when I started watching the old OP's and ED's

My love for the series has been rekindled

Holy crap at the major plot twist from killing Hakudoshi though, I did not see that coming

Well, this episode did rush through a lot of chapters.

But yea, that surprised me as well, since I've only read the ending parts of the manga and not the stuff in the middle.

However rushed, it was awesome, so much nostalgia.
