Back in September 9th, 1999 the Sega Dreamcast was released in North America. The launch of the Sega Dreamcast was sucessful and it's line-up of games such as Sonic Adventure, Power Stone, Soul Calibur, and Hydro Thunder helped the launch of the Sega Dreamcast.

Electronic Arts didn't support the Sega Dreamcast for unknown reasons, but instead Sega brought back the Sega Sports division from the Sega Saturn Generation and brought Sports Titles over to the Sega Dreamcast to fill the void. But other thrid-party developers supported the Sega Dreamcasts such as Ubisoft or Midway Home Entertainment.

Around January 31st, 2001, Sega annouced the end the production of the Sega Dreamcast by March 2001 and still hopes to still release more games for that console. The last Sega Dreamcast Game to come out is Sega Sports' NHL 2K2, which it came out in 2002.

Some Sega Dreamcast games got ported to other consoles, but mainly the Nintendo Gamecube during the time. Also there are some remakes of Sega Dreamcast games or just updates. Overal the Sega Dreamcast have some good games and some bad games, but mainly good ones and this console was targeted over hardcore gamers.

And it got destroyed by the PS2. I only played a few games for Dreamcast like Crazy Taxi and Marvel vs Capcom 2. I never had a Dreamcast before.

Also there's a new Sega Dreamcast Game over in Japan called Rush Rush Rally Racing. No it doesn't have any relations to San Francisco Rush or San Francisco Rush 2049.

Lol, I was just going to say that Luis.

I thought the controller was a little weird for this system.

This system was amazing! If the Ps2 hadn't destroyed them because of the huge casual audiance it would be a huge competitor in the current consoles (Dreamcast 2 was planned, Dream cast 3 or 4 would be out now), personally I would have gotten a dreamcast 3 or 4 over any other system because lack of any sega games = auto fail.
