I'm listening to a local CTV news story about how a family was ransacked at 3:00 AM.

My first reaction was "Oh my god. That's terrible."
My second reaction was "Wait a sec. Is that the Haruhi light novel on her bed?"

Does anybody else agree that I'm terrible?

lol, you can't feel bad for every sad story you hear on the news, 99% of news stories are sad.

I use it whenever I can.
Normally bad puns, but it seemed to work here too.

Well this one time I was watching little people big world, and the parents were talking about how bad their lives were. I was fealing sad for them then the camera moved towards the daughter at the computer and then I was like.
"Omg no way! shes playing runescape?!"
Then I focused only on the computer screen and completely ignored what they were saying lol.
