Shmups

Shmups (shoot em' up, 2d shooter, ect.) are games that usually involve some sort of ship or plane and shooting at a mass amount of enemies. The genre is classic, they're usually games in which score, skill and technique are important. Most people today take these games for granted, usually because all you do is shoot, though I think it's just because they're too hard and people wimp out.

Some of favorite games are, DoDonPachi Daioujou, Ikaruga, Gradius III, Gradius V and ALOT more.
