Questions regarding Lucky Star...

Well, I suppose I should tell you all I'm new here, so hi! :D
I just had a few questions on the Lucky Star series, so bare with me please:

1. Is Lucky Star finished? And by finished I mean the original manga/four-panel comic strip. I don't know what Kagami Yoshimizu is up to, just curious if there's more than just the first 6 volumes.

2. How likely do you guys think it is for a second season of the Lucky Star anime? I know Haruhi's second season is currently running, and if we're going by popularity/sales, I would figure that Lucky Star will probably get one.

3. I read a post on the forum while I was lurking that Konata and Misao both have a crush on Kagami, shown somewhere in a later manga arc (which I'm not sure if it exists lol) Is this true? I know there are quite a few hints/undertones of Konata liking Kagami, but is it canon?

1.) The manga is still going. I believe it's on the seventh volume.

2.) Unlikely. For one thing, the series ended in a way that clued you in that it would be the last time we'd see these girls in a show. For another, KyoAni is busy with the second season of Haruhi Suzumiya, and probably another show. However, the impossible has happened to other animated shows around the world, but the chance is small.

3.) Neither have a 'crush' on Konata. But Misao feels hurt that Kagami seems to have ditched her "best friend since childhood" title for someone who she only knew for two years, and although the only evidence I've seen is a link to a scanned page of that scene, the arc does indeed exist.

Thank you very much Misao! I really would like to read the manga, but I don't know where to find the most recent chapters, and they're probably not translated yet. But what do I know?

And finally, I'm a bit disappointed about the Konata/Kagami situation, since I'm a big fan of the pairing, and a lot of the evidence seems to be brought on by fanservice (>_>), but oh well. :) Eh, I guess it's still possible, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Also, thanks for welcoming me!

BANDAI released the first manga volume in English in June. The second volume is due out in several weeks!

As Misao said the first volume is out and the second coming. The possibility of a season 2 is very low though =.= Once again reality ruins everything.

Just be glad that the volumes are being released this fast. Something similar is happening with the Gurren Lagann manga, which is being released bimonthly, but that's for another topic.

Exactly my thoughts. Therefore, "a few months" is not probable.
May to August. That's three months. So every three months a new volume will be released.

May: Vol.1
August: Vol. 2
November: Vol.3
Feburary 2010: Vol. 4
May 2010: Vol. 5
August: Vol. 6
November: Vol.7

Alright! One year and six months untill the seventh manga volume releases. Oh, and don't forget the usual delays that Bendai love so much.
