About 5 months ago I' ve decided to learn how to draw manga becouse I wanted to have my own manga one day

I' m sure some of you know the hellview story, and if someone doesnt then I suggest google

My story will be a bit different (a little bit of Silent Hill, a bit of Resident Evil, a bit of QuakexDoom, and a bit of the original story)

It is mostly based on CKY songs from the album "Infiltrate, Destroy, Rebuild"

so heres two character from my very own manga story:

Wouldn't it make more sense if the blonde was american? You can give japanese characters just about any hair color sinse that's how it is in anime, but blonde being a real hair color already, is weird on japanese characters cause that doesn't exist IRL. In anime, non-asians are usualy blonde because of this.

Plus, anime is a japanese thing, and a big part of it is colorful hair, so it would also make sense to make the japanese one blue haired.

So in the end, it would make double sense to switch them.

I decided that drawing anime was too hard, so i started drawing some stuff more along the lines of web comics instead. Unfortunately i misplaced my notebook that has all of the best things i ever drew are in there. Fortunately, the best things i ever drew are just three very simple faces that don't even go past the neck, so once i improve, i wont even care about losing them ^^

(although, one of them accidentaly came out looking like a cross between Akira and Misao, and i really like it...)

It's a mecha design for a Lucky Star/Gurren Lagann crossover fanfic I'm making, called Gurren Star. This is Konata and Kagami's Gattai-type Gunman, entitles Kona Gami. If you'll noticed, the design is based off of numerous mecha shows, in line with Konata being an otaku. Included bases are Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gunbuster, Gurren Lagann, Mobile Suit Gundan Wing, Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, and the blaster on its arm is called the "Canti Cannon", a reference to FLCL.

I never thought of that. I'll tell my friend to modify it, then, to add an ahoge to the head, as well as to make other edits.

EDIT: The edits to the mech will be posted in a week or so. My friend has other things to take care of. And, yes, edits include both an ahoge and twin-tails.

Lol, silly me I can't draw. (This is my first time ever so I did a little look and copy session.) Also I decided to start some shadowing on the hair, but then decided not to so it looks a little messy. But then I decided to, again, and I think it looks OK, but it a little of proportion and the hair around the shoulders is too short and a shading got screwed up.

I started this today, I'm gonna finish shading her today then colouring her tomorrow.
