Most disappointing Game System

More than likely the Wii. The gamecube started a whole new era for Nintendo. Such as more games geared towards hardcore gamers. And when the wii was announced, gamers shat themselves at the thought of playing all of their favorite games with motion. And then Nintendo pretty much gave a big "Fuck You" to all of their fans that have supported them through the 20 or so years just to make a quick buck off of their Grandma and 5 year old sister. The DS pretty much did the same thing, but to a lesser extent. Both have their fair share of good titles, but the majority is complete shit. Both had great potential, but was thrown away by the mass shovelware. I know that they released more "hardcore gamer" games over in Japan, so I slightly blame Nintendo of America for the image I have on the Wii and the DS. At least I can import games from Japan and play them on my DSi. If I still had my Wii, I would mod it in a heartbeat to play foreign games. I eventually sold my Wii for a PS3, and then sold my PS3 for a few older game systems.

I don't know why, but some people say the wii is disappointing because it has no music channel or video channel like it's opponets, I don't really care about it cuz I didn't bought a video game console to watch movies or hear music, I bought a video game console TO PLAY GAMES, and what's really disappointing about the wii is all the crappy party games being released for it, some of them are nice like rayman raving rabbids but still all those party games or complete sh*t. try to think of a good wii game that is NOT a nintendo franchise >_>

Most disappointing for me is the GameCube. Not only were there next to NO ONLINE GAMES for it, there was very little third-party support, as most third-party games on the system could be played on other consoles... and oftentimes, it was better on the other consoles!

Also, the pilot game didn't have Mario in it. We had to make due with Luigi the Wussy Fruitcake...

super mario galaxy and super smash bros. brawl are good games, I also like WarioWare: smooth moves.

I spent all my Christmas and Birthday money one year to buy it, and EVERY game was terrible with the exception of Sonic CD.

Another disappointing game system was the Dreamcast, but not because of the quality of the system or the games, it was how short-lived it was. The console itself was ahead of it's time and the games were great. I miss Sega when it made game systems. (with the exception of the Sega CD)

Besides the two color scheme, it was alright...

^Seeing that brings back so many nostalgic memories... that only lasted a year since it was quickly replaced with an NGC. Loved the NGC at the time.

The Wii, to me, was quite a letdown on some parts, but ah well, it's not too bad with some of the better games, such as Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3 Corruption.
