I always had a place for Harry Potter, the only book I still haven't read yet is the last one, but I always planned on seeing all the movies.

The major problem with the series is that the magic duels could be so awesome, but are turned into very small, short legnth fights instead...

Harry Potter 7 is going to be parted in two films because it is too much to cut.
So it's like HP 7 Vol.1 and HP 7 Vol.2

You know what? The book made me cry like an idiot.

The film did not.

It's something that only a book can give you. I think it has to do with using your imagination to see how it happens, instead of seeing one man's version of it.

You also have to understand that the spoiler ending in the book violently grabbed reader's emotion, because even though Rowling hinted at it, she left enough for them to be surprised. By the time this film came along, everyone knew what would happen, and the ending felt watered down because of that.

no. snape has to help malfoy kill dumbledore at any cost. malfoys too nervous to kill him so snape does.snape had to help malfoy because he promised and if he breaks iit he dies.

Ah, yes that's right. It's been ages since I've read 'em.
I haven't seen the latest film yet, although I'm planning to. All the reviews I've read say it's crap though.

spoiler for 7th book
No Dumbledore wanted Snape to kill him that way it would look like Snape beat dumbledore, so Voldemort would kill snape to get the Master Wand, when in reality Malfoy beat Dumbledore when he disarmed him, that way Voldemort could be tricked

All I know is
Snape killed Dumbledore...

I don't care for Harry Potter...
I couldn't get past chapter 1 of the first book, and I fall asleep through the movies...

ok, i got 5 friends who watched it, and all of them separatedly said it STINKS, but APOCALIPTICALLY, one of them said that the movie's bad guy was so bad, he didn't even appear :/ , and i normally would tell them "fuck off" and go watch and argue that by myself, but since "Dragonball Evolution" came, my way to think dramatically changed... if someone says a movie stinks even to the point of not going to watch it, i better pick that option.

I saw it yesterday, and I'm not happy what changes the director did. Also he left out important things.
I've read all the books, and the only reason I watch the films are to visualise the story.
But I got to admit, I loved the scene where Harry drank liquid luck!

I like Harry Potter. The first few books were childish and mediocre, but the last two are so epic and amazing it makes up for everything.

I gotta admit though, I can't agree with everyone who hates this movie. I thought it was pretty good. I mean, yeah, it left some stuff out but it wasn't really anything that can't be dealt with in the next movie. The only thing I really dislike about this movie was the changed they made to the Harry/Ginny romance and the scenes pertaining to it. But I let that slide because of the things it did right.

I loved Malfoy in this movie. His scenes were amazing. Dumbledore was amazing. The actual story relevant stuff was amazing. I can watch that "HE TRUSTED YOU!"/"FIGHT BACK, YOU COWARD!" scene over and over again.

I mean, at least this movie was better than the utter trash that was the Order of the Phoenix movie.

I dunno...I felt the entire series lost its fun after the 3rd book. It was really only the 2nd and 3rd ones that made me feel anything. I bummed copies from friends to read the rest, but none of the other ones are as interesting.

Hi
If you just forget about the book for a minute and just consider the movie it has a good concept probably better than few harry poter movies.but the direction is bit dissapointing......obviously good special effects......overall okish movie...can be watched once
