YES! I used to love Toy Story when I was younger. I like the 1st movie better than the 2nd but hopefully this one won't disappoint. It's so far away though...

I didn't like numerb two as much as the first, but perhaps just like Ice Age, the third enstallment won't be too bad.

Toy Story 3 will be Disney/Pixar's first mediocre film. It's a forced sequel.

You heard it here first.

Why do you say that?

Disney loves their sequels. Pixar hates them.

Pixar had to get its arm twisted to do Toy Story 2. That is, IMO, their worst movie so far.

Since Disney bought Pixar, most of their movies haven't been as good (Good, but not the same quality as before. Exception being WALL-E)

Toy Story 3, adding both together, gives me a bad feeling.

i see. Yeah, I wish Steve Jobs didn't sell the whole company to Disney. I kinda liked them being independent and not following the Disney structure too much.

Disney has the money to buy out any competition. Everybody has a price, and Disney can generally match it.

On the contrary, many believe Toy Story 2 to be superior to the original. Including movie critics.

Toy Story 3 does give me a bad feeling though. Supposedly, Andy is now going to college. Will it attract the same kind of audience if it suddenly gave the film a more mature edge?[hr]

Toy Story 2?

Yes it WAS in theatres!

ROTTON TOMATOES
Toy Story - 8.7/10
Toy Story 2 - 8.5/10

METACRITIC
Toy Story - 92/100
Toy Story 2 - 87/100

I'm not saying that Toy Story 2 is an average movie or anything. It's excellent. Everything Pixar has done to date has been excellent. However, the fact that Pixar had to get its arm twisted into actually having to make the movie alone gives it less of a spark, as Pixar's heart really isn't into it.

I love Toy Story and Toy Story 2 because they are most important parts of my childhood right next to the Nintendo 64 and Pokemon. I cannot wait until Toy Story 3 comes out and I hope Pixar makes this a masterpiece like all their other movies. I'm a huge Pixar fan, and I find the storyline quite good so far what I read on Wikipedia. I been waiting 10 or 11 years for a new Toy Story movie to conclude the series.

If this gets on DVD they should make a Triple Pack where you have Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in there as a rerelease and also there will be Toy Story 3. So if they could do that you could get the whole series on DVD and plus maybe the Buzz Lightyear Movie that they made after Toy Story 2.

Hmm, I'm not really looking forward to the Toy Story 3, since I don't like much of the Pixar movies in my childhood. :[

Interesting online leak over Toy Story 3!

Andy's in college! Here's a look at how he was in the first film, and how he'll look in the third! What do you think?

I know. I've heard that it's quite good. I thought it was going to be another kids show, but it's targetting us who grew up to Toy Story.

Nice to see Disney not interfering like they normally do.

Oddly, I did not physically cry. Maybe it's just me and my manly exterior. It's incredibly stro-WAAAAAAAHHAAAHAAHAAAAA!!!!!! It was so emotional!! I felt myself holding back tears near the end. I can tell Andy was breaking down inside during his one last look at his toys. Though... the one scene that made me ALMOST actually cry was when Big Baby realizes (from Woody's confrontation) that his former owner did not mean to lose them and knows that he will never again return to her... and cries when Lotso shamelessly destroys the charm he kept from her!!! If you want to make me cry, put a crying baby in front of me!

I had seen this movie..Its story is mostly about the old gang moving from one place to the other, trying to stick together against the dangers they face, nominate their best bets..There is one genuinely scary (and touching) moment when the toys are almost burned up, but the toys do survive.

yea thanks now I know the biggest spoiler of the movie (from somewhere else) and the course of events that take place from what you just said without any spoiler bars... thanks I REALLY wanted to know exactly how the movie plays out seeing how I was probably going to see it later today... douche.

Well Pixar works without too much interference with Disney, even though Disney owns the company. That is perhaps why Pixar's films are so successful.

It has such a sad ending, but it was funny. I mean, isn't that the best plot in the entire trilogy? Like seriously, I thought Toy Story was meant for children. Heck it has even better plot that most adult-oriented movies this Summer.

Second best plot: Shrek forever after. Too short, too good. So much better than the other other two pieces of poo, shrek 2 and 3. I liked it.

Just saw it. I'm sure some other company must be hiring hitmen to kill Pixar after this...because, as impossible as I thought it was, each Toy Story improved on the last.
