I found out after 7 years of having my PAL ps2 that it has a special modchip that blocks the region code and let's play any game for any region!!!!!11111oneone!!!!11 so I downloaded the game from the internet, burned into a disk and started playing, I really like this game, it's very interesting and funny, I noticed that it reffers shin L*S for the NDS, for example: the soundtrack in the game is taken striaght from shin and remixed to fit the ps2 quality. it's also nice that the main character is actually the player, so that means you can get into romantical moments with any of the 10 girls. I got into 3 romantical situations with konata :3 (sorry darkwolf :()[hr]
the game also has a few supernatural stuff like going back in time and meeting aliens and even huge blocks falling from the sky o_0

It's a visual novel, along the lines of Phoenix Wright.

In visual Novels, romantic relations are built through correct and incorrect choices thru dialogue trees, while dating sims rely on statistics.

If you wanna be specific, Visual Novel relations are more realistic that Dating Sim realtions.

A visual novel game based off Lucky Star for the Playstation 2? Too bad I don't have one of those, but my brother does. Well the reason I don't have one because I was too busy playing my Nintendo Gamecube and Gameboy Advance. Well I still don't have one now because I'm too busying my other consoles, although I may get some games for myself for my brother's PS2 such as OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast or Sega Classics Collection. So anyways if this game came out in North America I would buy the Special Edition where you get the extra stuff.

The good part is I can get Lucky Star: Moe Drill for the Nintendo DS as long if my Nintendo DS is not region locked and a option to switch to english text. I don't know Japanese so maybe someday I will get them or Bandai Namco Games decides to release it over here and I will get it then.

Overall if you want to know why I never got a Playstation 2. Well because I grew up with a Nintendo 64 in my house and then I got a Nintendo Gamecube much later and now the Nintendo Wii. I'm always a Nintendo person and I'm also a Sega person.

Oh, and the Nintendo DS is region free, you can play import games on it. or you can get a flashcart and just load roms onto it (like me). I have the R4DS with a custom Lucky Star skin =]. The R4 can be bought off dealextreme for less than $20 shipped for the good one.

I have (and still own) every Nintendo console that was released in the US (except the virtual boy. my friend got color blind for a few days cuz of that thing)

just so you know, the playstation 2 lived much longer than his rivals and is considerd as one of the best consoles of all time, when it came out, it completely CRUSHED the sega dreamcast.

this is the full ISO splited to 41 parts, after you download all of them then you need to extract them and they will combined to the full game, it takes about 1 day and a half to download everything so it's better than the torrent
