Lucky Star—Or shall I say, Lucky Gender Swap Star! Full Series Fandub ! (OPEN)

Yes! That's right! All female characters in Lucky Star will be male, and all male characters in Lucky Star will be female!
ie: Konata'll be Male, and Shiraishi'll be Female.

But the only reason why I'm doing this is because it hasn't been done yet, plus it might be a bit more entertaining. And there's more males on this site than females.

You can only be 3 characters max!
If there is nobody's username beside the character's name, it means it's not taken.

If you're a female and want some of the parts I have, just ask. I'll gladly give it to you.

(Hint: the lines might be changed to fit with the gender swapness thangythingthing)

By the way, sorry for gathering so much lines ! You don't have to say them all though.

I pace it so that I can get a bit in each and every bite.

You can't be talking so long the dialogue switches to another character

It's a pain, I know but if we all talk a bit slower than the anime talks, we might end up with a 35 minutes audio track and a 24 minute video, which isn't great

Try watching the anime as you're recording, turning the volume off and just try to talk in time with your character

Yea I realize that, I just need to practice the tone at which I speak in and make sure to capture the emotion of what the character is saying, as well as what you said with the timing. People may not think there's much to putting emotion into talking about how I eat a cream puff, but it takes concentration, once I get that down then the timing shouldn't be to hard, and since there's a dub I can probably base most of my timing on that.

It is possible to do a fan dub of the OP, I just have to memorize and know how to correctly say the Japanese words.

Also I'm currently typing up, or well, copying Miyuki's parts so I can read them on paper, then I'll start practicing, and recording. I'll probably record a part more than once and post all the times I did it to see which has better feed back.

BTW 7h3d4rkw0lf, if you're using those transcripts from that site, and are still doing Konata, then you also might wanna consult the dub to as the lines actually aren't always right, for example, when Kagami and Tsukasa are having the conversation about their periods, and Konata butts in, the Transcripts say she says:

"Someones having a blunt conversation."

but in reality to make the joke still work, she's supposed to say:

"Someones having a blood conversation."

So just make sure you check the dub if something doesn't seem right.

A) you're singing enthusiastically!! Number one importance

I don't care if you have every word down pat and can sing it 5 times it's normal speed(o.o I can only do twice the speed) buy if you're singing half dead an in a monotone, I don't want it

B) make sure you're ON BEAT, ON TIME, ETC ETC

we don't need one person with bad rhythm messing us up

C) RIGHT NOTES PLOX

The second hardest part would probably be

Not cuz it's fast(although it is), but cuz it's so long and you have to say it perfectly

It's still stressful for me (mainly the part before the song actually starts)

How about we do what they do in the english dub. Speak the first part in english and then start singing the song in japanese?
