Impressions of LSS users, past and present

I (daringly) post this in the general chat section because I thought this would have some sort of meaning(the thread) and it's not like I'm playing a game.



Ok so whenyou first joined, what was your impression on certain users? How has your impression changed on them?

Ok I'll go first

I remember seeing VK, FP, Rhea, and Laturi as the "Strict on rules and the all mighty gods" of this forum that were to be respected at all times

Now my impression is "have fun and be happy but make sure you abide by the rules, ok?"


Another one, I used to see Supernova, Misao, and basically all the other senior memers as "long time vets who you must respect"

Now it's more like "heeey wassup guys!"


Anyways enough of me, what about you guys/girls? (lol I remember I bragged that I had over 50 posts in 3 hours and either VK or FP, don't remember, was like "^does this sound like bragging to anyone?^"

Lawliet: Admin, the guy who set up the site. Doesn't seem to have been active recently.
Rhea: Moderator. Doesn't seem to have been active recently.
Laturi: Moderator. Seems to be a cool guy despite that, eh posts awesome stuff and doesn't afraid of anything.
Savage: Highest Post Count. Haha, Kagami rap. Nice one. Wait, he's been cheating on her?!?
Danroks (later Seavord): Second Highest Post Count. Seems slightly annoying
Coooooolonumber I have forgotten: Negative reputation? :o How'd he get that?
Flaming Penguins: Awesome guy
Raz (later AniManiac (IIRC?)): Guy who signed up not that long before I did. Seems a cool guy as well.
Hammy: The last guy who signed up before me. Oh, don't I know him from AnimeSuki?

Of course, Rhea and Lawliet later came back. AND IT TURNS OUT THEY WERE AWESOME PEOPLE ALL ALONG.

I joined, was highly active for a few days, then left for a few weeks. Came back, stayed until the site was going down, registered here. Stayed here for a few days, left for a couple weeks, and now I'm a very active member here!

With so many posts, thedarkwolf was impossible to not notice, and first I thought he was some immature 12-year old boy who was all like "OMG I <3 LUCKY STAAAR"
But then I realised he was a cool guy with a lot of content in his posts, and does not appear immature at all

I also noticed Misao as a cool member with good posts, and I still think the same about him

I have never thought of Rhea as a strict mod, but my impression of her changed when I discovered that she was Norwegian as well (not in a bad way), dunno why.

Actually my views on the other members hasn't changed since I joined.

Oh, and seriously, if you made no mention to the fact you're natively Japanese, I would have never ever ever guess in any amount of time! Your fluency in English probably exceeds my own capabilities in English, you're that good.

Well I've lived in the states since 3 but talk only Japanese at home and goto japan every year so I get a good amount of practice in both languages ^_^

I also have a vocabulary of a highschool senior (I'm freshman starting september) so I also have good literacy grade

An of course I write stories so I use words alot, I'm good with literature ^_^

You mean after I graduate? Not sure, I'm not sure if that would count as a graduation if I had all my courses and community hours after my first run through grade 12, but I don't think so if I stayed another year.

I really don't think of grades 11 and 12 different grades, more like the same grade, because once you get this far, you might find yourself taking both grade 11 and 12 courses not matter which grade you're in.

Example, I took grade 12 classics this past year, but this coming year one of my classes is grade 11 war history, which wasn't offered before.
