I know there are alot of typ0's in there, but I hope you could see this work.
And if you got some ideas for cards i would like to know perhaps I could make it.! :D

As one who plays around with card game design myself, I have to point out the cards don't have a great image source. Whatever you're using, it's not working. Better images will be needed. The design is also very simplistic.
I think the first step you should do is design the rules of the game first. Balance is key when designing a game (and I'm guity of this too...my pet project right now keeps stalling out because my work yields an exploitable card or two). Even Flash games such as Mytheria can be pretty easy to break.
I would also suggest you use Magic Set Editor for card design. It's very high end and has a lot of functions to make pretty cards. There are also lots of solitare card game systems out there to test your game and fix up your balance. If needed, I can always try to play a net game with you over PMs, provided you return the same courtesy :P.

I want to make my own cards and cards and cards design, but the other functions of Magic Set Editor are quite good.
But if you use that program do you NEED to use there templades?
or can I just upload my own?
and if i need to use theres. are there alot of customisation options?
and, I would love to play a game with ya! :D

You have to use templates, but their additional template list is so extensive, you'll find something. Check their website for them to see if they fit.
Either way, the customization is almost perfect IMO. You could probably tear up the YuGiOh templates for what you want...alternatively, they have Flash Card additional templates I believe.

Try working through this:
http://magicseteditor.sourceforge.net/doc
It provides a decent backing to what you need to do with it.

This Magic Set Editor looks intriguing to me....I think I may have just found a solution to YGC-Yugioh Card Maker.com *w*

Wow, just gotta say this, wow. I started using that Magic Set Editor, and have already created (or in this case re-created) an old card game called Triple Triad (you get a juicy cookie if you actually know what that card game is) and it's been going fantastic! If Veldin doesn't mind it, I'd love to post some of my work on this thread if I can manage it.

I'll get the cards on here eventually. Been going through a lot of infection crap once again, but I promise, I'll work on it ASAP when I get the time.

Welp, I can't find a program worth a shit to help me post my cards, so I'm afraid I'll have to say that I can't do anything here. Sorry...

What do you mean by program? Do you mean Image hosting site?

First of all, I wanna thank Veldin for making this thread. This is an awesome subject that I personally think isn't touched upon well enough.
Second, I wanna thank kirant for mentioning Magic Set Editor. This program is "perfect" (and I do mean perfect) for fan-made card designing.
Third, and lastly, I wanna thank brupielink for referring me to SadPanda. This website is perfect for hosting the images of my cards.
And of course, the LSSF, for existing. ^^ Now! Without further ado, time for you all to check out what I've been up to these past few weeks. Enjoy~

As you can see, this card is designed in the Triple Triad style, using a Magic: The Gathering "Preview" template. This program's perfect for what I'm searching for, and is most definitely my most favorite program so far.

And here's good ole' Osiris the Sky Dragon (I hate calling him Slifer, but that's just my personal preference) using the Anime YuGiOh! Card template.
So, whaddya all think so far?~ Pretty awesome huh?

Oh wow! I'm guessing you gotta know a bit of coding in order to mix templates, right?

A bit of the art should be alibble bit visible, just like the names.
Looks like Yu-Gi-Oh reloaded.

Its kinda like yu-gi-oh,
Altho there are other things, like tributing is defferent, and spell and trapp don't work the same.
But I can't go in detail, because of release protection.
(altho I do need some enlgish speaking members who I can trust for some grammer checking!)
