What I mean by Karaoke is an anime music that has the lyrics turned off. I have the opening music of season one The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and to me it sounds better without the singer. But Hare Hare Yukai sound bad without the lyrics.

Well for Hare Hare Yukai, that's because it's based mostly on the voice for the melody.
