The ultimate in all of Japanese tokusatsu is coming soon to Japanese theaters.

It was announced today by Toei Company that next year will see the release of the live-action major motion picture, tentatively titled Super Hero Taisen (Super Hero War), which will bring together over 200 Super Sentai rangers from the classic Himitsu Sentai Go-Ranger series to next year's Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters and over 40 heroes from the Kamen Rider franchise. This will be the largest gathering of classic and modern tokusatsu heroes of all time.

The film will begin shooting later this month, with the goal release being during Golden Week 2012.

Seriously, this is going to have ALL of the Sentai Rangers from Go-Ranger and onward, plus almost ALL of the Kamen Riders up to Kamen Rider Fourze. It'd be awesome if they added in Tackle from Stronger (despite her not technically being a Rider, not to mention being dead) and all of the Riders from Ryuki. I think that'd boost the number of Riders to 50 or something, seeing as Ryuki has about 12 or 13 Riders in total.

I know what's gonna bring the world to an end in 2012. This movie's epicness will be too much to handle.

That's being kept secret for right now. Not even the crossoverlords of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger and Kamen Rider Decade know why. But it does involve Dai-Shocker from Kamen Rider Decade: The Movie - All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker.
