Well this thread was going to be made eventually, so it may as well be made now.

Red Orchestra 2 blah blah blah WWII game blah blah blah Tripwire etc.

Anyway, I'm in the beta now, and my only gameplay complaint is that the cover system doesn't flow very well. The snow map also needs a lot of balance tweaks, since right now it's heavily biased towards the red army and it's suicide to even attempt at making it to the other side as the axis. The game could do with some optimization, since I was getting 50fps and after lowering shadows from high to medium it jumped to 60. The server browser definitely needs a lot of fixing, if you're playing it right now you know exactly what I mean.

Other than that it's a fantastic game, and I'll be playing a lot of the beta all the way up to release.

Great you made a thread for it.

I'm waiting for the full game, i'm going to start with the single-player, as i always do, even in multi-player focused games.

I can point out though, that even if i haven't tried it yet, cover systems in FPS's usually end up bad or underwhelming.

Also, TWI reads a lot of their forum, they are aware of everything being said there. These things are already acknowledged.

I think a nice fix would be an option to hold for cover instead of just pressing it once, especially since you have the cover button also being used for all actions. For some reason, you also can't lean in cover, and you have to stick your entire body outside.
