Nethack

I've recently started playing this game non-stop, it's so god damn addicting. I've been using the Nethack wiki to help identify items, but a lot of the stuff is still pretty far over my head.

The game's pretty old so I don't expect many people here to know about it, but if anyone has, how far have you been able to get?

Makes me think of the time when I played Medievia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medievia).
Looks like a great game, that's for sure. Will definitely give it a shot.

Ah, heard of nethack. It's pretty similar to games like kingdom of loathing and it has a lot of "the developer thinks of everything" involved. I haven't personally played it though, since I'm not really a big fan of rogue like games and don't really want to be caught up in another MMO.

It's not an MMO, it's not even multiplayer. It's kind of like a one-player D&D type deal.
