Hello, my name Is 7h3d4rkw0lf.

Here on my thread, you may ask any question for consultation, whether it be a life question or maybe you need an opinion on whether to buy that new game or save up? Whatever it may be, please ask

I am NOT going to answer any pointlessly stupid questions such as "should I punch myself." or "what's the 174619th place of pi?" because they are pointlessly stupid, actually I'll give u a "googleityourself" link

Also no super sciency questions or things that you needto be in college to know -_- (coughkirantandfreemancough)

This is for consultation, not debates

Should I buy an arcade cabinet and make it into a MAME cabinet with the 3000$ I've been saving for something?

I wanna ask a question~ ^-^

Okay, so I have a friend that I've known for almost 3 months or so~ And in that time, we've become really, really great friends! But the thing is, we occasionally have these differences that get really hard to settle... And the longer we become friends, the more times we tend to get into these differences-fights. I mean, I really, REALLY want to continue being their friend, but sometimes the differences gets the better of us, and it makes both of us feel reluctant and like we want to let each other go.

But the catch is, even when we feel like that, we can't part from being friends, no matter what. I'm not sure what to do, actually. ^^; We still have these great times together, but there are just those little moments.. What should I do? D=

If I were in your shoes, I would save up the money but in the end, it's always your call.

You can do alot more with $3000 ^_^

If you really want it though, go for it

Ah, the friendship questions ^_^

As they say, good friends WILL get into little quarrels with differnces, but it also means you're both being honest with each other.

If one would just go with the other person then it's not really the best of all friendships while two friends that aren't hesitant to express their views tend to make better fried if they can overcome the differences

For me, my best friends and I have been in more arguments then we can count, yet we also get long great, heck, we still get into arguments and the like but that's unavoidable in friendships :-)

I would suggest that you try to understand your friend and try to get your friend to understand too rather than arguing and turning your backs going "hmph!" because that tends to get slower progress then listening to the other person and listening as to WHY they feel that way, it might even change your mind

If you're alread doing the above, tell me ^_^*

Hmm... I'm going to go buy some vintage clothing in a shop in Britain soon (http://www.classicchaps.co.uk/gallery.html), given how I'd probably be wearing these with some regularity, would $160 be an acceptable spending limit, or is it too much? For that matter, what's the maximum amount one should spend on a hat?

7h3101im4idw0lf
06-29-2009, 07:42 AM
Well VK, if you're going to wear these regularly and these are vintage, $160 isn't too much, I mean hey, good suits cost alot more then just $160

As for hats, I'm not an expert on hats but at the most I, personally, wouldn't go for anything over $50 but it completely depends on the type of hat

If you're buying a sports team hat, then I would only to about 20-30 but if it's a classic styled collectors hat then... Well if it's a collectors, I have no idea since I don't collect hats but take the "collectors" out and I would go around $60-70

But don't take my word, I'm not a hat expert >_>

VK-Skelton
06-29-2009, 07:51 AM
Mmm... yes, I'm notoriously tight with cash, so I always like getting more opinions when I'm spending large amounts. Thanks!
And the hat thing sounds about right, I'd agree with that. Thanks again!

Well Young Grasshopper, 42 is a very special number, however, it's true meaning cannot be explained in words and means of communication, rather, one must learn it's secrets by experience and own accord.

Wrong. It's because it is 9x6...which is 54. Thusly the Universe is fundamentally screwed up.

This advice comes from the man who's always on the verge of bankruptcy with allowances and money... DON'T USE IT!!!!

Wait until you NEED IT, don't just use it now because you have it, that's plain wasteful. Wait until you find something you either need or REALLY FRIGGGING WANT SO BAD YOU WOULD KILL FOR IT.

Then use it :p

Japan gives about 19% of the money invested into the UN making it the second best contributor to the UN. (Number one being the USA at 22% of the investments.)

Yet Japan is not a permanent member of the UN. (The permanent 5 being China, USA, France, Britain and Russia.) Do you think Japan should be a permanent member because of its investments?

Like NRA's ideals to sell guns without ID-check and background check at gun shows, as well as pouring firearms into the consumer marked.
You know you can still be good at sharpshooting without being a member, and therefore supporting, the gun-loving organisation which wishes for blood faidas to be legalised so they can earn more money.

I beleive everyone should have the right to own and purchase a firearm for self defense reasons. I don't want them to get it for bad reasons, therefore I sort of support them, yet at the same time support the current laws
