So long, debating each morning if I'll head to Borders to use the coupon an email gave me that morning... and wind up never using it. Thoooooose were the days. Granted, they'll only close one third of its stores, but that's for the time being...

Is news like this that make it sound REALLY plausible that more manga will be translated! :P

Dang. I actually got my K-ON! Vol 1 from there when I was in Florida. That's sad. They had a good selection of mangas as well. D: But at least they're not all closing.

Now I'll have to go to barnes and nobles. If I find out I still have money on borders gift cards I'll be pissed. XD

I buy most of my manga from Borders, now I have to go to Barnes and Noble.

The Borders on my island is one of those that will be closing. It's the ONLY book store on the ENTIRE island. This past summer the one in Hilo closed down too, which was the only bookstore in Hilo. Kona side still had their Borders.

Now I have to resort to Amazon for all my manga and DVD's. Barnes and Noble in Oahu has a much, much larger selection of manga, but it's $120 round trip airfare, not including ground transportation.

I actually just came back from Borders. It was going out so everything was on sale. They had some pretty neat stuff. Like haruhi manga, haruhi-chan, pretty face, kashimashi, rosario vampire...epic stuff.
