AK47 BTW. The only thing that has ever beaten it for me is the Armalite 15, RPG, LAW, and anything else that makes a big explosion.

Well since the M40A3 isn't on there *glare* I choose the M16 because semi-automatic weapons surprise people, 1 or 2 burts and you're dead :)

Well, the M16A4, combined with Stopping Power, (if all three bullets of the burst land) can take out anything without Juggernaut. It's a favourite gun, and it's available from the start.

actually it kills non jug with 2 bullets with sp, w/o all 3 have to land. And with sp it kills jugg with 3 bullets giving it the official OP title because of long range, no sway, no recoil, quick swap (about same as pistol), and fast reload.

But the R700 is crap compared to the M40A3, even though it SAYS it has more damage than the M40A3 every time I get a no scope with it it never kills even if the enemy doesn't have juggernaut, as with the M40A3 it always kills them in one shot more me.

With the R700 on hardcore (The only thing I play) I always get a 1 shot 1 kill.

Any sniper, including the M21, with no stopping power, against someone with jug, will kill in one shot. thats a fact.

Hardcore = easy core

R700 has a better chest and stomach multiplyer but way more sway.

^ How is hard core easier then regular? Yes weapons are upped in power but your enemies weapons are as well.

Its easy because whoever sees who first wins, in normal you can at least go prone or hide if they only get one shot to hit.

I think by far the best weapon is the SOG Bowie Knife. It has a range of 3 feet, can kill anyone in 1 hit regardless of where it slashes or if they have juggernaut, and it won't show up on enemy radar. Also, the knife has unlimited ammo. It is kind of Ironic, that even the series went modern, the Knife is more effective than claymores or nightvision. Basically, Cod2 used bash, Cod4 uses knife, melee weapons are always the most effective. IRL a knife wouldnt do much dmg unless it slashed the throught, but its great in COD cus u can surprise n00bs with it.

It used to be different guns would do different damages (melee) but nope Cod decided to just give the melee 100 damage.
