I am going to star in my school's production of A Christmas Carol as Ebeneezer Scrooge, and we are drastically behind schedule. We are currently five to six weeks behind, and our play goes up on the first Monday of December, meaning we have more or less three weeks to pull our act together. While the lines are all fine and dandy (I've memorized at least 1/3 of mine), it is the stage build that we need assistance with.
Our script calls for a fairly complex (but within reasonable high-school budget range) stage design, with enough room to pull a full king-size bed (at max, a smaller bed will also do) in and out and to allow commoners to traverse the imaginary streets out front (there will be an empty space where actors and extras will walk). In order to pull together our production and make a believable stage for our actors to perform on, we need reference photos. If you can find any photos or panorama shots of a completed Christmas Carol set, this would help us greatly. Remember, this play goes up in 3 weeks, so I need you guys to help me fast.
