Hikari-chan has had one before! :3 She also has had Vanilla ones also~ They are both very yummy!~~~ <3 Except she doesn't like the pastry part of it. She has a sweet tooth, so it's pretty normal not to like the bread pastry.. ;-;

Oh God. This? :D

The thinner end looks like the head.

Lucky Flame
06-07-2009, 06:59 AM
I think the bread would even the chocolate out.

I would have to say the skinny end is the head and I agree with Miyuki and Kagami that you tear off the head and dip it into the bottom, it makes sense.

I tried making them. :3
The recipe was a little difficult to follow, since it was in Japanese and required conversion for the measurements of the ingredients. (being American, I don't often measure by grams lawl. I also followed an English recipe, but the measurements were still in grams.)

They didn't come out perfectly, but they were alright. They tasted decent too. ^^

No, but I have had pocky once. It tastes kinda like those Keebler fudge drizzle cookies, although the chocolate itself has a more semisweet taste to it. They're really hard to eat without breaking though; they come huddled together so the chocolate keeps them stuck to eachother in one big bunch.

No, but today at the chinese supermarket, I saw some vanilla cornets. They looked exactly the same as the chocolate cornets you see in lucky star, but the inside was white, and they had tiny sprinkles on them. Looked quite nice. I didn't eat any as I had just had lunch though.

Since those four lines were pretty bad and necromanced this old thread, let me tell you about other things I saw in the supermaket. I saw some quite nice manga drawings on the back of a book there and I thought "Whoa, they sell light novels here? That's neat! I would've preferred an english version, but a chinese light novel would be nice as well. I opened it, and found the insides with crappy lame drawings and fairy tales. The manga art had nothing to do with the inside. That's blatant false advertising I say! Furthermore, the art was practically ripped off of anime series. I recognized two of the drawings as yui from angel beats, and a card captor sakura one. I don't know if I should be proud or not that I recognized two.
