that's true, but I wouldn't expect a person like miyuki to be THAT aggressive, she's afraid of the dentist but doesn't afraid of a ball that comes straight for your face and hurt u? I dunno........

I'm sure that applies to most people though. I mean, I know very few people who don't have a sports instint and reslience to pain when play sports. Miyuki wouldn't fit the pattern I have seen if she didn't try.

^Tsukasa is a character with low competetive instinct as shown in the OVA. Okay, perhaps "competitive instinct" is not the perfect way to explain what I mean. Both Tsukasa and Miyuki are relatively calm characters unlike for instance Konata who jumps around and is full of energy. Miyuki kind of changes her personality when it comes to sports, while Tsukasa really doesn't.

Granted, only one of the two is shown to be athetically capable. Tsukasa's inability to compete sports has kind of become a character point, which always takes priority over logic.

Miyuki is only competitive and strong when she's playing sports. I guess she's wants to be good at sports or something... Or that she feels she has to succeed.

miyuki said that she wants to be a doctor when she grows up, but I agree on what dally said, when miyuki plays any sport she becomes a whole different person and she can change back to her innocent personality very quick so that adds her more moe points.

they all end up dead and are in heaven together, talking and laughing with each other exactly the way they always would.

That sounds similar to the one I was talking about. Miyuki killed Kagami because she wanted Konata all to herself, and so Miyuki and Konata are dating, but Tsukasa finds out what happend to Kagami, and tries to kill Miyuki, but stabs Konata instead (I think. Konata may have sacrificed herself to save Miyuki). Tsukasa kills herself in the end, IIRC. Details may be vague as it's been a while since I read it.
Actually, the end sounds exactly the same as what you described in the spoiler tags. It could be the same one, and I could just be a forgetful idiot.

Yep, sounds like we're talking about the same one. Some of our info was contradicting, but i'm 90% sure i got all my facts right.
