If you have following the game at all, by now you have heard the reports about the game's major shortcomings. With a 4.2 from gametrailers (a site known for handing out 10s like fireworks on the fourth of july) and a 4.0 from gamestop, I think it is fairly clear that FF14 will be no "WoW killer".

i never had high hopes for FF14. it wouldnt have been bad but no WoW killer by far.
my bets still on the new Star Wars MMO XD

yup. followed it a lot on sankaku. Looks pretty sucky-ish.

Who says I was looking forward to it in the slightest, and hadn't predicted this months ago ;)

It's like FFXI all over again 8 years ago.

Still getting it though, cause I thought the OB was fun. But I'm gonna stick with FFXI for a while still, its Abyssea featuring FFXI lol.

The last good Final Fantasy was Final Fantasy 9. 10 was okay.

Though this news has at least made me interested in Final Fantasy 14. Never expected a Final Fantasy game to score anything lower than 8ish, scoring in the lower 4s is pretty crazy. Think I'll go read those reviews sometime.

i never liked the FF series in the 1st place and always thought the series was utter crap.

I haven't played any main-series games since X-2, so i'm not really bothered by this.
That score is surprising though

Well I enjoyed XI (enjoying), XII and XIII so I can't really say anything about their last good game. :/

btw online FF will never work, it shall forever remain and prevail as the greatest 1p fantasy RPG game

FFXI is working pretty well right now actually. Maybe not when it first came out but after the first year it really picked up.

I was hoping for it to be a good game, I played the beta and uninstalled the beta and cancelled my pre-order lol..
