Bungie still kicken, and crysis comes to consoles?

well now it looks as bungie is making a prequel to the halo series in one of the favorites, Reach. If you don't know this is where most of the remaining spartan-IIs ended up dieing when the covenant glassed it, can't wait myself as Reach was always my favorite part of the Halo universe.

What's this am I reading this right? Crysis 2 my favorite PC game and easily the game with the most critically acclaimed graphics will be coming to consoles with the new and impressive crytek 2 engine. Both these games will be an instant buy for me just because of the setting, thank you E3 for a great new look into great games coming soon (I havent even mentioned Fallout New vegas or Mass Effect 2 which will also be buys for me, my wallets going to be empty soon lol).

Oh and one more thing I'll be excited for, sorry to all the Ps3 fanboys out there but it finally happened what am I talking about well look at this link.

Halo 3 ODST? Halo Reach? or Metal Gear Solid Rising? or Dead Rising 2?

for now im leaning towards MGS... I grew up with it after all.

If your thinking about odst / reach, by buying odst you get a beta code for reach's multiplayer

Reach comes out in 2010 so they'll be far enough apart, as for O.D.S.T I can't wait. And Reach BETTER have a more intense and desperate feel to it, as for a MGS on the 360, Theirs only one complaint, why did they wait so dang long???

any arcade shooter is average but their fun to play :)

If you want something above average I reccommend a game that takes skill like counter strike, shadow run, or team fortress

Okay now this Halo Reach is what I've been waiting for ever since i read the book "The fall of Reach". I swear, if Bungie disappointments me like they did with Halo 2, I'm done with Halo. Oh and this new MGS BETTER not be shortened or anything because of the capabilities of the 360, it better be as long as any other MGS game.

edit - The new MGS game is not a 360 exclusive. And The new Crysis game, will probably not be nearly as good as the PC verison. That's like hoping Doom 4 will be just as good on consoles as it is on PC.

Yea I saw the previews, it looks like Crysis 1 on min - med graphics. The PS3 version looks a little better than the 360 also. I really hope that they don't overlook PC users.

Anyways, I actually really am for once excited about the new Halo Reach game, the other one though, not so much, but that Reach one will probably be great, if it follows the story in the book.

Yeah Reach is going to be good if it follows the Books. Some misinformed people even think that its going to be a Squad Based shooter.

I want it to be more large scale then the other Halo games, Reach was supposed to be one of the biggest battles of the war! And it should be more intense!

Well, I really don't want Reach to be any old lazily crafted game that has been forged in a short deadline. I want it to be many times better than Halo 3. Yes, Halo 3 multiplayer and forge modes were really good, but Halo 3's campaign was... uh... just say, a little... short? I'm praying that Reach will have a better campaign. If the campaign is comparatively good to Halo 1's campaign, I'll be really pleased.

campaign is only half of it.

You're right: without a good multiplayer to back it up, it will not be as long lived as other games with multi.
