I'd probably join Izumi just because Konata is an otaku. I would have a gaming buddy with me 24/7 since most of my homeboys only play sports games and not any platformer/fighting/RPG games.

Mine is kind of the same as yours, but a bit different.
I'd choose the Izumi's for two reasons.
1. I get to hang out with Konata and I get to read all the mangas and play games with her.

2. I get to befriend and then if I keep at it date Kagami~n.

They're rich. Also both Miyuki and her mother are sexy. Also they have connections among other rich influential people. Like Minami's family! They often come to visit to Takaras, so its always fun there.

I would join Hiiragi pretty much the same reason as DevaPain026 but also I would love to have some sisters I only have 3 brothers and 1 sister 1 of my bro's I love but can't stand sometimes 1 bro I never even met but I've heard about him my other bro I haven't seen him since I was 4 or 5 and from what I've heard he's not doing so well and making poor choices and my sis I haven't seen her since I was 4-5 but from what I've heard about her she's doing real good owns her own dance studio and all kind of other things but I love having a huge family but I want some more sisters because my brothers are to much but my sis was always one of my best family members so I would rather have sisters and would love to have more

id be the big brother. being the older one just feels good for me and with both konata and yutaka id feel real happy. it would also lighten the load for Kagami.

i do have an older sister, but im twice her size so i already play the roll of bigger, younger brother

This all depends on if you join as in being a family member, or move in as a guest. If you actually join the family, I think the Izumi's as a younger sibling to Konata would be fun. If as a guest, definately with Miyuki and her mom. >3

I spend a lot of time alone, so a big family would be a no-no.

I'd choose to live with the Iwasaki or Tamura family. Why them? Because they are the only ones with dogs (though personally I like cats much better but none of the Lucky Star characters seem to own one from what I've seen).

I'd probably go with the Iwasaki family for having a nice quiet family with a calm atmosphere where the members are easy to get along with (I'm used to my dad being away which would be all the same in the Iwasaki family). Not much is known about the Tamura family except that Hiyori has 2 older brothers, which could be a plus as it's nice to have somebody to relate to gender-wise that's not a parent. From what I've gathered from the manga, the parents seem like they'd be fairly strict (or simply lenient) as they don't seem to like Hiyori always focusing on her hobbies according to her, though it's fair enough. One of Hiyori's older brothers seems to be a lolicon kind of person as they provided the cheerleader outfits in episode 24 (at least we know where Hiyori got her influence from). Kind of tells you what kind of family they'd be like, but that's not to say that the family would suck. Overall it's the Iwasaki family for peace and quiet, even if it's impossible for me to imagine having Minami as a sister.

Second Option: Join Misao's family. I'd imagine it to be the best experience you could every have for a number of reasons:

1: You get to be MISAO'S SISTER!! Seriously, how awesome would that be!? Granted she'd probably be annoying (but in a playful way) like waking you up in the morning because I bet she gets to bed early and wakes up early.
2: Misao has a older brother. Given that Misao is so damn awesome, I'd love to see what her brother would be like. My head would probably explode from the fresh epicness.
3: Misao is energetic, carefree and simple. She probably got it from her family: I wonder what her parents would be like? Granted that she lives with her grandparents, (this was the same situation for our family once) who probably look after the 90% responsible Kusakabe parents (kind of the same thing with our family. A father who goes away to work with a mother who does normal things, while grandparents would help: and believe me, my grandparents are quite fit and lively for their age). Short story: awesome grandparents.

As for the other question asked by veehive, I'd want to be the older brother; I tend to have a protective personality with my younger siblings, and I'm fine with that. Also, Yutaka needs as much protection as she can get, I think. x.x She really seems like an easy target.

The main advantage for me though would be that I would finally have someone to talk to about Anime, Manga and whatever else. Sure, I got some nice mates online to talk about with that stuff and even on here with all of you but it really doesnt compare when your in the company of a real person, expecially Konata :3

I'd choose the Izumi family for many reasons: One, I'd have a sister who could actually compete with me in gaming. A dad who likes taking pictures and seeing sights, even though he'd probably creep me out with his personal tastes....Or maybe not? I dunno.

But basically, I'd have a badace sister who I could be close with and enjoy being with. A dad who's hilarious but also laid-back. I'd miss my mom a lot, but hey, I'd have my sister and dad. Also I'd feel very protective over my cousin Yutaka, and also protected by my second cousin Yui. It'd be just such a free environment....Also, I'd be able to fall in love with Miyuki Takara. 9///9 Hehe~
