Off topic - My preferable army would be the Guard (Once I get the money). Am I suppose to field armies of infantry...or should I actually try to use their kicka** tanks?

Well depends at the points level your playing at. A good army will normally include 2 leman russes, a couple heavy weapons platoons and say 40 guards men. Although I can't give anymore info than that really, my main army is Chaos (and has been since 3rd ed) so I don't really know to play with guard. I just know how to crush them :P

I play with a mix, use Chimeras as dedicated Trans whenever possible!

Hm...interesting.

Just by looking along, the Baslisk and Lemus Russ Tanks appear to be (almost completely) the best tanks in the game.

Baslisks arnt very good because you won't often be in the minimum range for the no los shot so your weakness (low armor) comes into play. Although leman russes ARE awesome!

I deject that! Baskisks are amazing when you assign a squad or two to guard them! Especially with the new edition!! Edit: Sorry about spelling

The only time I've ever seen someone dislike the Basilisk was when he miscounted by 6 inches...and blasted his army to nothing.

Well they've never been a problem for me, because I play such a offensive army I'm well within the minimum range very quickly. I normally play very small elite armies transported in land raiders, it has worked well in the last 2 GTs I've been to.

Yeah but the tactic that seems to be popular with my friends Is defensive, They rush out to take objectives then dig-in and take positions in the surrounding terrain.[hr]

The gameplay video is way out of date, that was in the alpha. If you look carfully at the trailer you can see some of the footage was ingame and from the looks of it, it'll have a dynasty warriors feel to it.
