Here's a good question that may make you think. Say you were married and found out at some point you would have a kid. What are the three movies, in their LIFE, you would allow him/her to see?
To me, they would probably have to be...
1.) Toy Story
2.) Aladdin
3.) Star Wars (the first one)

Spirited Away, Princess Monoke, and The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.
The first two are the two best movies I've ever seen really. The third is something I would have to show since I'm a Haruhiist.

Anime for kids is tough- the best anime is aimed at adults. So I would have to show them either Pokemon, something by Studio Ghibli, or both.

2. The Incredibles
3. WALL-E
What? I can't help it if Pixar does work amazingly well for 3-4 year olds.

PIXAR does amazingly well for everyone.
(can't come up with a list of 3 feature-length films for childroon ... I'd probably prefer they watch a couple years worth of top-quality animated shorts -- WarnerBro's, JayWard, Bozetto, Plympton, PIXAR, etc.)
"childroon" was on purpose

There is no consistent logic in your post.

There is. Pokemon is for kids, ergo, it is a good way to get kids into anime. But I do not think it is the best anime out there.

When they're young, I'll show them Finding Nemo, then The Dark Knight and the Cowboy Bebop movie when they're older.
I don't wanna show them all three movies from one franchise, cause there's not enough variety...
