New DragonBall Z game, the reason I put this here is because it looks like a Tenkaichi game and it might feature a character creator!

It's not in story mode it's probably in the normal versus mode (I know what your saying though)

Either way it still looks great, a next gen DBZ game would be nice cause to be honest I stopped playing them after I got my first xbox.

Do you mean the fact that Goku's clothes are still normal and not ripped? And the fact that Namek is still kinda... not destroyed? If you mean that then yea, I agree with Konata Suzumiya

NOTE: This is only a demo, that's why there aren't alot of characters. Also I hope they add more costumes and that they'll let the transformations be implented in the character so it doesn't take up another slot on the character select screen.

looks great physic wise!
just two hopes
1. they make the energy bars, health etc. like the way before or better than this
2. they go up to as far as tenkaiichi 3 at least character wise (which I somehow doubt they might even go to buu for some reason)

Well I heard there will be about +- 73 characters and 9 stages. To be honest I don't really care if there are alot of characters like in BT3. In fact if they don't... it could mean they are saving slots for perhaps characters from a character creator :D! AND AS LONG AS THERE IS SUPER VEGITO!!1 =P

But I totally agree with you on the fact of the Health Bars and stuff.

As you can see on the gameplay video, Frieza doesn't have his purple color on those scale things on his head. That's a good thing, because it means that it's Frieza's second costume! And that means you can see what costume you chose in character select!

Also the trailer, look at Goku's Instant Transmission! It looks awesome! Around 0:35

yea that did look good, I just at least hope they go to buu saga, and that transformations don't count as *characters* because a lot of my favorite characters were from the buu saga.

Well like alot of people say, it is almost confirmed there will be a Buu Saga. Why?

A Saiyan armor Vegeta and a Buu Saga Vegeta. It is also confirmed that the 73 characters includes transformations so that's to bad. But there is a good thing. Just like in the video, there is a Buu Saga Vegeta and a Saiyan armor Vegeta. But these two characters are the same, unlike in Budokai Tenkaichi 3 where there were like 5 different Vegetas! And if we lose all the, what people tend to call, useless characters, we'll end up with about the same amount of characters as calculated in Raging Blast. Well as long as there is a Super Vegito, I'll be happy =P

Probably will, if not the game will be messed up bad. I'll ask WolfClawStudios about this ( pretty reliable source on the upcoming DragonBall Z games )

Buu Saga confirmation:
There's a lot going on around the Buu Saga. When Vegita's second costume came out and it being the Buu Saga Vegita costume people assumed that there was a Buu Saga. Some people still thought, but why not a majin buu then? Well, there are gameplay videos showing Kid Buu, the last form of Buu in the Anime and Manga. It's safe to assume that the Buu Saga is going to be in the game.


More Characters:
There are new characters shown in the gameplay movies. These being Android 18, Cell, Gohan, Trunks, Trunks Future form ( these two will probably be probably be two characters and not one with an additional costume ) and Kid Buu. The Character roster, in the demos, has been updated. The transformations are now selectable when you select a character that has one, like in BT 3. Like I said before, it's also available to see the costume of the character before the match starts.

In Game Transformations:
In my opinion, one of the things that is a MUST in a Budokai Tenkaichi game. Yes it's confirmed and also shown in the gameplay movie on the bottom.
