This is my favorite MMO and I plan to get back to playing it soon, it's cheap, fun, and very re playable. Does anyone here play this game (I wanna start playing it a lot this summer to take a break from xbox live)?

it think it sucks in every sense... sorry but it's true, there are many not only cheap, but free MMO games out there... runescape is just hilarous, try Lunia or Fly For Fun, which are anime themed, and are muuuch better

actually they re introduced a very similar system to wild a week or two ago (one reason why I'm starting again), it is supposed to be very fun and profitable, that makes 3 pvp (item risking) systems (wild, pvp worlds, and bounty hunter).[hr]

I don't like those kind of games for lack of customer support, updates, and just things to do in general. With those games I have played the quests are very liniar (might have spelled that wrong) with either too large rewards / too small rewards, and they seem to be able to be easy ways to get up in levels very fast.

Who does quests? All I used to do (about a year ago) is mine, create stuff, fish, and PvP.

uh... *shocked!* (goes into mmo fanatic mode) Questing is a huge part of mmos! They tell the story of the game itself, they are in a way the single player mode for the mmo! They give you excellant rewards as well such as better training methods, armor, weapons, and the great and powerfull questing cape! (goes out of mode)
sorry bout that... but quests I have always felt are a huge part of runescape for those stated reasons but I do see where you are coming from on the pvp / skilling aspects of Runescape.

I admit PvP secured the economy of Runescape, but questing supplied that economy with good and xp (99 fishers got to that level quickest from Shilo Village, Desert Treasure supplied Pking with the most feared magic ancients, 1v1s were greatly fueled from lunar magic with the vengeance spell) the runecape economy, questing, and pvp go hand in hand.

I used to play this. I might again. It got so boring for me I made a new account a few days ago. I got bored again so now I don't remember my username or password. I think go to the support center thing. Its like life is telling me not to play that game.

I used to play some years ago, and I remember I found it quite funny. Became lvl 88 if I my memory serves me well.
I liked the quests on RS, especially the Romeo & Juliett and Dracula quests :P
Now I barely remember what my user account was.

I love Runescape. I've played tons of MMO's (including... UGH... World of Warcraft) and none come close to being as awesome as Runescape, IMO.

I started a new account a while back (Lyricalias) and I'm going to work on it soon.

I wasn't much of a fan of questing, but the quests had good stories.
And it's the gameplay that's so attractive, that's why it's the #1 free MMORPG, though it's the P2P (Pay to Play) that really attracts people to join and play.

Was going to get 99 fishing next, but I quit indefinitely in January, this year.

I used to play it all the time some years ago. It's not a bad game actually. I have never played a better web-based game in my life actually.

I can't really return since I'm ultra busy in real life, and I give a lot of my free time to watch anime and read manga.
My total was 2248, with 249m xp, and 11 99s.
Could've easily had been maxed by now, but I played on and off for 3 years only.
