Schools in Saitama Prefecture might adopt the uniforms used in Lucky Star's Ryouou Academy. This is old news for most people but there isn't a thread about it yet.

I think those are great ideas.

Japan has a stronger connection their cartoon creations than in Western countries! The closest anyone in the United States did related to this was give Bugs Bunny his own star on the Walk of Fame (if there are other examples, please state).

Also, GOD that Kagamin is a knock-out!

"Playing anime theme and insert songs over PA systems at street corners."
I can imagine this getting really old really fast.

Yeah that's the only idea from that list that sounds lame. There are NOT many songs from anime that could be played over the public PA systems outside at ALL HOURS OF THE DAY.

I see another problem. The school uniforms.

They think they have problems with lolicons/shotacons NOW?! If they inact the dresscode change then pervs from around the WORLD will come to get a peek at young girls in sailor fuku dress.

Not to mention the kind that take pics and post on the web for others to fap to. >.<

Keep in mind the uniform change would only be cosmetic. Apart from the visual design of the uniform, it will not affect how the students will perform with their grades. Plus, the pics you usually see online of school girls are models, NOT everyday people, who would look less attractive in uniform.

I sure hope this is a joke. Liking anime is one thing, but anime and real life work in so many different ways. Plus, I could imagine so many problems with that 3rd suggestion

I agree with Kirant, this is going a little overboard. It's not like the place only has otakus. Also, I do believe that not everyone in the region will agree with those ideas.

it's a goo idea

and just that, an idea

come on, some want it sure, but be realistic, there are a few girls wearing this crap walking by themselves on the way home, some group of crazed pedo anime otakus find them

do the math

although about the music... check my playlist, you'll find about 9 hours of good music on my FAVORITES that can be played over public

now go to my actual library, yeah, music shouldn't be a problem (and thats only from the anime's I'VE seen, which isn't a whole lot http://www.myanimelist.net/animelist/7h3d4rkw0lf

Because the idiots made the classic mistake of shitty cosplayers. The uniform LOOKS like a costume. Colors aren't that fucking bright in real life, and the material for the bow looks like it came from a discount halloween shop.

...materials that will not stand up to being worn day in and day out...

it says, in case you can't read, that it may be the BASIS, or STANDARD, in design, not the actual thing, the pic is an actual cosplay costume

PIMP!

ANd yeah, I'm in the wrong business. I see cosplaying outfits at an anime shop goin for 200$ that looks like I made it with the cheapest material found, basic stitching and all.

Also Supernova, thanks. Finally your sig has the RIGHT couple.
