My favorite comedians are Christian Finnegan and Brian Regan. Dane Cook had his moments, but his latest special wasn't that
great :\

What really pisses me off is how popular some comedians are that aren't fucking funny at all. Jeff Dunham and Gabriel Iglesias, ugh. I fucking hate them. They're not even remotely funny!

Brian Regan is one of my favorites, watching him right now

I hate Jeff Dunham though

I love Stephen colbert and John Stewert.

Don't really dislike many comedians other than other political ones, Sarah Silverman and Tosh.o I guess because they think they're a lot funnier than they actually are.

There are a lot of funny Norwegian comedians, but I know of two that I don't find funny.

I used to like Jeff Dunham before he went all sexual and foul with his jokes. But Brian Regan is a rarity: he's clean... AND funny.

And I disagree somewhat with Supes; I find Gabriel Iglesias to be quite funny (the 5/6 levels of fatness: "DAMN" and "Aw, HEEELLL no!")

The first names that came to mind were Tommy Tiernan, Ed Byrne and Dara O'Brian... all Irish. Huh. I don't like Graham Norton, though.

Also, everyone who was involved in The Comic Strip.
There are a lot of good ones, I couldn't possibly list them all.

Oh yes, Michael McIntyre is awful, as is Jimmy Carr.

I like Graham Norton and his show. First, he is funny and is a pleasing character. Second, he doesn't have one guest in a chair for five minutes, throws him out quickly and get the next one in. American TV shows love having the guests on a assembly line, while Norton has them all in at the very beginning and let them sit in the coach through the show. Third, he interacts with the audience in a much more caring manner.

I love Stephen colbert and John Stewert.

I forgot about them, they're hilarious! I was only thinking about stand-up comics...

He's actually pretty funny, I don't see a reason not to like him. He made me laugh out loud hard once, which is pretty rare.

Jim Gaffigan

And I forgot about him too! He's awesome!

the 5/6 levels of fatness: "DAMN" and "Aw, HEEELLL no!"

I can't believe people find his act funny. It's just a stupid catch phrase that isn't even remotely clever, that became popular for no reason, and now he's milking it. Just like that "I kill you!" asshole.

Huh. I didn't know that.
Pretty much the only American stand-ups I know are from American shows rather than anything else, like him or Jerry Seinfeld. Also Reginald D. Hunter, but he works here.

Bob Sagat is an ASS. (and I don't use that term!!) I saw the Comedy Central Roast on him and he was a major prick the whole time!!! (unlike Shatner's. He ROCKED!!!)

so ya. Unless you mean the family-friendly-host-of-AFV version. Because he isn't like that in real life. -_-;

Jack Whitehall is a comedian that makes me want to punch the screen everytime he appears on it. Which is far too regularly. Same goes for James Corden, though he's not really a comedian.

Rhod Gilbery is great, as is Paul Merton.

I always like Jeremy Hotz (despite his complete inability to keep a straight face), Mitch Hedberg (RIP man...), Robin Wiliams, Bill Cosby (in their days), and Rick Mercer. Jon Stewart's stand up was also pretty decent...before he got a show (where he then decided to focus on his show and just slept through is stand up acts).

George Carlin, Rowen Atkinson, and John Pinette had their moments. Russell Peters and Ron White had one good act each (Peters is smart enough to just feed off the one while White seems to think he's still funny). Off the stage, Jerry Seinfeld, Brent Butt, the Monty Python gang minus Terry Gilliam, The Kids in the Hall, and David X. Cohen are great.

On the flip side, please shoot me if I need to watch Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Dane Cook, Tosh.0 (Daniel Tosh?), Bob Saget, Lewis Black, and Jimmy Carr.

I do...kind of. All I remember is a few clips of Last Comic Standing, where he was absolutely brutal.

Oh, how could I forget him, he's one of the funniest comedians ever!

But how come you don't like Daniel Tosh? He's hilarious!

I'd say he's decent enough. Once you've seen his 'flustered middle class' stuff once, he starts to lose a bit of appeal.

Oh yes, Michael McIntyre is awful

Gonna have to add Stewart Lee to my list while I'm here. Saw the second season of Comedy Vehicle, and made me look up some of his work on youtube. He's probably gone to my no. 1 spot now.

He feels like a man who's trying to be funny by being stupid offensive, but stopped trying about halfway in. Very much like Jimmy Carr in that regard.
