How good is Patricia's Japanese? She clearly understands the language as well as speaking it good, but does she ever make some flaws or does she have a foreign dialect?

I don't think they really thought ahead because they used a Japanese actor when they should have used an English actor.

But a Japanese VA could impersonate a foreigner. Just like how you can impersonate a Spaniard speaking English.
And the situation in the mangas is also in question.

Maybe the reason why Patricia's English VA sounds suckish is because it's supposed to be foreign? Dunno...

From what I heard (and this what I heard, I watched the dub), Patricia uses more informal terms and much more slang. In addition, at some point, Kagami actually calls her out on her lack of perfection of the language.

I think Patricia's Japanese voice said the few English words very good, with an American accent too in fact.

According to thedarkwolf, Patricia has a "fake, American accent". This is probably because Patricia's voice actor can't speak American too good, but I'm glad they gave her an accent. I've seen too many shows having foreign people or students talking the language perfect.

I also heard that if you stay in another country for a while you can pick up their accent.

She's American, but her American accent in English is suckish because it's supposed to be American? How does that make sense ~nyaa-nyaa?

Apparently, the image files on the website I got it from get moved around (probably to prevent hotlinking like I did). I just now linked the page to replace the hotlinked image.

The American one was brought in to mimic the Japanese one. Both are equally annoying.

I thought only the American voice was annoying because it is so high-pitched that a person over 40 can't hear her voice.

The Japanese voice is much less high-pitched than the American one. The Japanese voice could actually be natural.

Matter of opinion, but I couldn't imagine either existing in reality.
