And by "remasters" I mean "brutally rapes and destroys while showing the episodes on TV passed off as 'new' episodes". They've added in stupid, horribly edited effects and onomatopoeias to the fights and such, making it come off as horrendously low-rent. Just take a look at what they've done.

The rather poor quality aside, I'm actually pretty happy about this. I hugely enjoyed MMPR when I was a young 'un, and I'm glad that it's now being ressurected for a new generation.

Disney has ruined Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for a new generation. They should've given it more of the treatment that Paramount gave Star Trek: The Original Series, by enhancing the MegaZord battles and the special effects with new CGI that looks good rather than screwing it up the way they did.

Disney has ruined Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for a new generation. They should've given it more of the treatment that Paramount gave Star Trek: The Original Series, by enhancing the MegaZord battles and the special effects with new CGI that looks good rather than screwing it up the way they did.

yeah... it's much MUCH worse. anything that Disney get's their hands on they ruin.

1. There ARE uploads on YouTube (of quite a high quality, might I add), but the odds of a kid wanting to search THAT up is just about as likely as Comedy Central showing clean television programming - IMPOSSIBLE.

2. The visual effects added are poorly done and get to outrageously distracting levels. (Kimberly did a backflip? "WHOOSH!!" Monster explodes? "KABOOM!!" Bulk and Skull do something stupid? LET'S GO CRAZY!!) As said before, it makes the show come off as horrendously low-rent.
