Apparently Misao says something about Kagami's weight (she's trying to diet, I think) and so Kagami slaps her, and she gets sad. Then Konata makes the same comment, but Kagami only get annoyed (and doesn't resort to violence), so Misao gets more sad because she thinks Kagami likes Konata more than her.
From what we see, Misao doesn't like Konata, because she's stolen Kagami away from her.

Dude so I was at this sushi restaurant and we had a lot of food. SO much that I had leftovers that I took home. When I went to reheat my fried rice, I wasn't going to heat up the sushi. HOLY CRAP get this. I had a dream last night!

Okay, so in my dream I was at wal-mart with my mom. I went to the back and she went somewhere else. I went to this poster rack with the posters on those big sleeves that you can flip through. On the left there were like 6 posters of Misao!! There was one of her sleeping, an animated gif I suppose which is impossible on a poster, and it was her laying like on a beach under the sun with a blue sky, and covered in a beach towel to her shoulders. you could watch her chest rise and fall. Then there was a poster of her smiling showing her little fang and up in the sky on the right says "Sugeendatte VA!!" and I wanted that one. There were two of that poster. Then there was one on the very left that was in almost black and white (color but very desaturated) of her, and to the right about in the middle of the rack was a picture of her close up and with one eye closed, looked sorta like that picture they got of her song on youtube. The manga has no colour, therefore it is harder to see a difference between black and brown.

They could have made her hair a very dark shade of grey in the manga instead ~nyaa-nyaa.

Giving characters different hair colours adds more... colour to a scene. If all the characters had black hair, it could look very dull. If you're trying something (such as Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, which, as a parody show, keeps all the Japanese characters' hair black to subvert the cliche), then you might be able to pull it off, but otherwise all the characters with black hair could leave the show looking slightly dreary.

The multicolored hair actually CAME from publishers wanting the covers of manga to catch the eyes more, so they made the artists give characters unnatural colored hair, since manga is always black and white. Anime caught on, and the rest is history.

I prefer Misao with brown hair though. It makes you more attractive, you lovely girl!

TVTropes.org's article on the show uses "amounts to a total of about 15 minutes" to describe Misao's screentime! :O Coincidence? Not really, as the department of health warned of overexposure to too much Misao!
