Well, it's official!!! ^.^

Pokemon Silver and Gold are finally getting a remake. It's going to be for the Nintendo DS.

A wise decision. Pokemon Silver & Gold were my favorite games because of the 16 Gyms.

Also it will be possible to let your Pokémon walk behind you... I think...

It's because the battery dies after about 6 years. And they replace it for 15$?! That's a bit expensive.

No Wai. The hour or so I play it still lets its in game clock still work. I mean, my save state will hold for about a week, but it will always re-corrupt later.

Three days and 17 hours until they're released! I pre-orded the Japanese version of SoulSilver on play-asia because the international version don't get released until Spring 2010. I REALLY don't want to wait that long.

There are internal clocks in Silver, Gold and Crystal to the GBC.

Silver had internal-clock, Red did not.

All the Pokémon games to GameBoy Color have internal battery that keeps track of the time, and change between weekdays and day and night! My Crystal cartridge can be seen through, and there you will see it.

Except for that whole "Not in english" problem for those of us who don't want to either learn Japanese or fake it (I do it for at least a comple games. That's good enough for me).

Just read some of the capabilities of HG/SS. I can confidently say that it is by far the best pokemon game of all time.

It is a well done remake of the best Pokemon game of all time. It had the best starters, re-introduces some of the coolest options, gives us a lot of varience because of Night and Day, and some of the best Gym Leaders of all time.

Platinum has the stigma of having been in the second worst generation of all time, having less than epic enemies, and doesn't have 16 gyms.

The pokemon games tend to be easier and easier for each new version coming. Red and Blue was really hard, with the levels of the opponent trainers being much higher than in later games. In the Elite Four, the hardest pokemon in Crystal was at the same level as the weakest pokemon in Red.

All of the Crystal elements are in HeartGold and SoulSilver such as that guy who's after Suicune. I'm still waiting for my order to come in, cause I bought it.

Both of us suffer speed problems, don't we? Slowbro and Ampharos both have base 30 speed (IE The speed of Oddish).

Celebi was in the European versions as well.
