The closest one i can find, although i'm not quite as obnoxious as this character type:
The Smart-alec American-This character is known for being, well...a character. As in he constantly ticks people off, makes reckless mistakes, has a big ego and still somehow manages to be perfectly popular. He is prone to having pony-tail hair and a Leno-esque chin--that needs a shave. He's not literally American, but he displays that go-getter, nothing-can-stop-me attitude that is stereotypically tagged onto U.S. characters. There is, however, a more hidden part of this character. He has iron-clad honor and a heart of gold, and it the only part of his persona that he doesn't flaunt.

Mm...
The head of Keiichi Maebara
The ego, imagination of Youhei Sunohara
The occasional apathy of Sasuke Uchiha
The video gaming dedication of Konata Izumi
The interest in physics of Kotomi Ichinose (her parents research was mostly in physics)
The gun enthusiasm of Kouta Hirano (from Highschool of the Dead)
And....some similar stuff to Takeshi Komuro (also from Highschool of the Dead)
Plus the ability to mimic the facial expressions of Vince from ShamWOW. (unrelated)
I don't know the actual 'terms', but in the 'terms' of it...I can only compare T_T

Quick guide (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AnimeCharacterTypes), for those who need help. 'Welcome!
As for me, I'd be somewhere between Adult Child, Bespectacled Bishonen/Stoic Spectacles, and, when increasingly provoked, the Keet. I often believe I take on the Scary Shiny Glasses look when angry, but of course, I can't see my own face to know when I'm doing that.

That's what I've been using, but for some reason "smart-alec American" isn't on that list, but it's on every other character type list I've seen.

Not the article- the article for the American stereotype in anime has already been created. I meant add the link of that article to this list.

LOL the Quick Guide (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AnimeCharacterTypes) I linked to before could use a link to the tvtropes article on the American stereotype in anime. So since anyone can edit on tvtropes, all you have to do is find the right article, press EDIT on the top of the list, and add the link.
