I was wondering, who is the dark-haired girl in these panels?

1. Her bangs/fringe looks different. In the b+w manga pics I posted, they're more pushed to the side, and they stick out on each side.
2. In the b+w pics, her hair on the left and right side of her face goes past her chest. The images I posted of Yamato in this post shows her hair reaching just above her chest.
3. In the pics I posted of Yamato in this post, her eyes seem to be narrower than the b+w pics I posted.
4. The pics in this thread show Yamato with a signature pigtail look, b+w pic shows her hair down or in one pony tail.

I haven't beated lucky star ryouou gakuen outousai yet but I knew she's the alien in prolouge all the time. still, she seems to hand out with Misao and Ayano but in the game she only has a relation with the player so i'm not 100% sure it's her.

To be specific, Ko is head of the Animation club. She's friends with Misao, as KTA stated, and has played a video game or two with Konata in the past. She fails to see Konata as her senior, which is played for laughs sometimes.

It just screws up the balance of the whole show. We had an even number of characters, we already had a character that looks like Kagami (AKA Kagami herself), and we already had a character with black hair. This new character would wreck everything up, in my opinion.

I'm rather agree with you,they are like different in many things

also,Yamato has a quite nature,but in the pic,that girl looks more emotional

and i don't think she's Kagami in the future

i think lack of the airtime is the biggest problem for anime that have many characters,especially if we want all the characters (new and old) must be show in every episode.

Looking at my copy of the manga, not the blurry pics I provided, she has no hair ribbon thing on the back of her head. Instead, she has two clips on her bangs/fringe.

So in my opinion, she may not be Yamato.

That pic Kona just posted looks kind of like her, but it also looks like a fanart. ^^;

Due to being busy in school, I might not be able to post the scans tonight, at least not for a few hours... I have the pages scanned, but I'm working on editing the translations in for you guys. Thanks for being patient.

I still dont think its her either. In the first pic you provided it show Mystery Girl A conversing with Hiyori. So that may be fanart, but Yamato is friends with that second year girl who's the head of the anime club, which Hiyori is in. So this provides some plausibility to it being Yamato.

Mystery Girl A looks nothing like Yamato. Although it could just be a major change in character design, kinda like the very first Konata and the current.

That was on the back of the newest (I think, something like 7, don't remember) LS manga in Japanese. It is the same character as in my scans.

Her name is Izumi Watase (her first name is Izumi, so I don't believe she's related to Konata). Class Rep of Yutaka's class most likely, since Hiyori calls her chairman.. She's an otaku but doesn't want anybody at school to know about it. She doesn't usually wear a ponytail, she usually looks like this:

In the newer manga volumes all characters are finished with high school and goes to universities. Misao and Konata study in the same university but the rest are split. I found this from a blog where the author (of this blog) have read all 7 volumes. Also, he provided some pictures from the vol. 7 and they look much more grown-up. I think there's a lot of material for a second season of anime.
